gnome power manager와 xset dpms force off

예전에 산 X41에 다시 젠투리눅스를 깔아서 쓰고 있습니다. 서너달에 걸쳐서 세팅을 하고 있는데요, 최근에 gnome power manager를 쓸 때 xset dpms force off가 제대로 동작하지 않는 현상을 발견했습니다.

인터넷에 찾아보니까 같은 현상을 겪은 사람들이 많더라구요. 해결책으로 xset dpms force off를 하기 전에 gnome-power-manager를 죽이거나, 아니면 2초 간격으로 계속 xset dpms force off를 하거나 하는 것들이 있었습니다.

xset dpms force off 대신

xset s blank; sleep 1; xset s activate

를 하면 됩니다.
